An extremely rare Australian pre-federation badge set!

8th (Union Volunteer) NSW Infantry Regiment (Irish Rifles) 1st July 1899 – 1st July, 1903. Formerly part of the 5th 8th (Union Volunteer) NSW Infantry Regiment. Four companies and HQ were formed in Sydney on 1st July, 1899. A Company was formed at Bulli on 10th January, 1900 and another Company was formed at Newcastle on 6th September, 1900.

All badges complete with two lugs.
