The South Alberta Light Horse, or SALH, is an armoured reconnaissance unit of the Canadian Forces Army Reserve based in Medicine Hat and Edmonton, Alberta. It is one of the oldest of the western Canadian Army Reserve units. The SALH is part of Land Force Western Area’s 41 Canadian Brigade Group. It is part of the Royal Canadian Armoured Corps (RCAC).
