The 10th Terminal Regiment was a significant unit in the Australian Army, particularly at Watson Bay. It’s also associated with the Middle Head/Gubbuh Gubbuh precinct. The 10th Terminal Regiment was the last unit to serve in the brick barracks at Middle Head, a public area now managed by the Harbour Trust and NPWS. The regiment’s activities at Watson Bay primarily involved training RAN personnel in maritime warfare. The regiment was disbanded around 1998.
