1st Commando Regiment is a reserve commando regiment of the Australian Army with a contingent of full-time cadre staff. It is part of the Australian Special Operations Command (SOCOMD).
This was worn during the 1st Commando Regiment deployment to Afghanistan on Operation Slipper during 2009/2010. Worn on DPCU or DPDU shirts during combat operations.
The Afrikaan motto on the patch says First of the First.
A scarce and highly desirable Australian special forces patch.
