Comments: Australian Senior Cadets Commonwealth Military Competitions, District Competitions 1912-13 Champion Team. Cadet N.R Meagher 93rd Battn. Engraved. Comes with 16cm ribbon.

This medal came out of Tasmania and most likely attributed to Lieut Norman Richard Meagher of the 40th Battalion AIF, who was KIA shot by a sniper at Ypres. Meagher is mentioned int he 40th Bn AIF unit history.
