The Defence People Group (DPG) delivers high quality human resource outcomes across the Defence employment cycle from strategy and policy development, through to implementation and service delivery. We put people first and deliver on our commitments.
DPG was established on 30 May 2012 in response to the standing up of the Chief Operating Officer Organisation and ongoing Defence reform, such as Shared Services and the Defence Culture Reviews.
It brings together people elements from across the Australian Defence Organisation to deliver sustainable people capability in line with the People in Defence Blueprint, and contributes to Chief Operating Officer Organisation’s mission by delivering integrated people systems and building a capable workforce.
