This patch was made up by members of the AGD mustering (SNCO’s) in mid 2013 in response to the formation of the new RAAF Security Forces Squadrons which combined the RAAF Security Police and Military Working Dog Handlers with the Airfield Defence Guards resulting in the issuing of berets to ALL members of the new AFSEC mustering. The patch is seen as a derogatory reference to the fact that the ADG’s had to work hard for their beret while everyone else after July 4 2013 had it issued.
