Royal Australian Air Force Task Group 633.2 is a part of the electronic signals intelligence (ELINT) element to Operations Catalyst and Slipper. The group has two AP-3C Orion aircraft and crew flying operations in the Middle East Area of Operations (MEAO). The crews are rotated on a six monthly basis. The ground element which includes operations, maintenance, airfield defence and logistics assists in keeping the Task Group secure and producing a high level of operational intelligence and area security.
