Comments: This patch was created for the three fighter pilots from RAAF No. 76 Squadron (FLGOFF DJ Robson (Captain), FLTLT J Ellis as radio operator and photographer and FLTLT JP Hayden as navigator) and their support crew who attempted a trans-Australia crossing in a hot air balloon called ‘Nancy’ in 1968.
