The Adelaide Universities Regiment is an Army Reserve training unit, headquartered in Adelaide, South Australia.

AUR maintains a cadre staff of trained Regular and Reserve personnel who oversee and administer the training of Reserve officers and soldiers under the direction of the 9th Brigade.
The majority of the regiment is based at Hampstead Barracks with elements in the Northern Territory and Tasmania.
AUR forms the core of the 9th Brigade Reserve Individual Training Capability. This capability has been established within 2nd Division by reinforcing the University Regiments with additional Regular, Reserve and Australian Public Service personnel.
The AUR training program includes subject courses for Army Reserve non-commissioned infantry officers (corporal and sergeant level). It also includes delivery of the non-residential phases of the Army Reserve Officer Training First Appointment Course (FAC) for 9th Brigade members on behalf of the Royal Military College, Duntroon.
AUR conducts regular training, in barracks, on Tuesday nights and on various weekends each month. Field training activities take place throughout the year at Murray Bridge, Woodside, and Cultana near Port Augusta.
AUR offers opportunities for individuals to develop strong leadership skills through the First Appointment Course in Adelaide, Darwin, Launceston, Hobart and in most 9th Brigade regional depots. It sets high standards and reflects the Australian Army’s values of Courage, Initiative, Respect and Teamwork.
The motto of the Adelaide Universities Regiment is ‘Sapientia Omnia Vincit’, which is Latin for ‘Wisdom Conquers All’.
