Operation RENDER SAFE is the Australian Defence Force’s (ADF) enduring commitment to the removal of Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) which continue to pose a potential danger to communities across the South West Pacific.
Operation RENDER SAFE 2014 is taking place in Bougainville at the invitation of the Autonomous Bougainville Government and with the approval of the Papua New Guinea National Government.
The focus of Operation RENDER SAFE 2014 will be in Torokina where grounds, villages and community gardens remain contaminated by unexploded ordnance.
